It is very sharp and powerful. I bought this knife last week and recently received it. Just what I was looking for in an electric knife. I mainly use it for slicing my homemade bread. It doesn't even struggle with the thick crust. The low price is just a bonus. If I ever need another, I would buy this one again.
Item received as described, fast shipping. Knife cuts great. I didn't use this for cutting turkey, I used it to cut the foam on my Pelican gun case. Worked great.

The gap was really there, very noticable. After doing some research I picked this one. My wife's old knife finally gave up the ghost. It immediately became a problem as chicken bits got stuck between the two blades. I noticed the complaints about the gap between the blades causing problems but there seemed to be so many positive reviews I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Well what do you know, my wife made a roast chicken and gave it a go with her new knife. Not a very successful present for her. I don't know how so many people seemed to like it so much, it has a very serious flaw.
You had to fight to keep the button pushed. I'm older and have trouble with my hands. I had an expensive electric knife that was almost impossible to use. This knife is easy to use and makes a breeze out of cutting roasts, bread, anything. I love it.
